I try to resist bandwagons. I'm naturally a little contrarian, so when people tell me I have to do or hear or see something, I an disinclined to. This is why I still haven't read The Kite Runner. Believe the hype, people. It's amazing.

I'm dispensing with the catching-up; suffice it to say that nothing interesting happened over semester break. There was lots of sleep, and lots of cooking and baking, and a good deal of running. (Watch your mail!)
