Much has transpired since we last spoke! (That seems to be a theme lately. Sorry. Summer, you know?)
I moved to Somerville. I'm getting used to life on the wrong side of the tracks, as evidenced by the fact that at dinner tonight, I referred to "Harvard Square" in the broadest Boston accent this side of Rozzie. I haven't spoken like that since I hightailed it out of Saugus. Apparently, 02144 has stirred up some latent townie roots. I'm not displeased.
California was excellent. Posts to come once I Flickr my photos; photos will be Flickred once I figure out which box I packed my camera in.
We had a valedictory dinner for Dad and Sully, who leave tomorrow on their trip Out West. The communications central is here: Dad's going to post photos and hopefully blog, while I track them on a Google Map and add my own blog commentary when Dad lapses in posting.
Kate and Nick had the most adorable baby I've seen possibly ever. Though family loyalty requires me to place Dorie behind Emma Kate on the "cute" list, the new Quincy House baby is pretty damn cute.
Bruce got married. Married! In Tulsa! Heavens.
Lastly, since my new apartment is NESN-less, I listened to the no hitter on the radio while I unpacked my boxes. Awesome.

Welcome back! Can't wait to see the Cali pics. I'm especially looking forward to reading about Papa Lonergan's [mis]adventures on the road-- with your snarky comments included, I'm sure it will be nothing but amusing.
