There's a Smoot joke in there somewhere
Mental Floss offers up a kick-in-the-teeth post on "The Sex Lives of Smart Folk." It references a recent study about high schoolers (conclusion: significant correlation between higher IQs and higher likelihood of virginity) and a 2001 campus sex survey that roughly offers the same findings. And this gem:By age 19, 87% of college students have had sex. At MIT, it’s only 51%. (Furthermore, only 65% of MIT graduate students have had sex.)
As someone who currently lives with an MIT graduate student, and has regrettably dated a couple others, I have no comment whatsoever. Beyond that "regrettably."

At least you came you your senses and got the hell out of Dodge. I'm still kicking around Cambridge and inevitably running into the other 35%.
