Take a long drive with me down California 1
I work in a converted warehouse; to say that the building temperature is aggressively regulated would be something of an understatement. The office is so brisk today that I'm wearing my official Breckenridge Ski and Ride School fleece.
Speaking of warmth: Inspired by Dad and Sully's RV purchase, I am planning a small and slightly ridiculous road trip for the end of August. If you live in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or anywhere in between, do get in touch with me, and I'll cook you wonderful baked goods in exchange for letting me (and whoever else I have in tow) sleep on your floor.

Wow, for a second there I was convinced you might have switched jobs and are now working in my building, but for the fact that you described yours as being a converted warehouse!
I keep a space heater, fan, and sweater in my office at all times because of the ridiculous temperature swings. In the winter, we (the office) occassionally trip a circuit breaker when it's ice cold outside and everyone plugs in their heaters all at once. Building management gets ticked at us of course, but if they kept the temperature at reasonable levels, there would be no need for the heater or the fans.
Oh yeah, and there's the AC vent in my co-workers office that probably puts out a windspeed equivalent to a strong tropical storm. Stand under it and your hair will whip in the wind! I kid you not, I don't know how he manages to get any work done in there.
PS. The road trip sounds like fun!

Our tax dollars at work :)
I've gotten very adept at layering. The only problem is when I go out for lunch but forget to take off my fleece first and end up sweltering all the way to Metro Cafe.
