Anti-anti-Valentine's Day

Far be it from me to tell anyone not to be cynical, but seething hatred of Valentine's Day seems a touch... misplaced.

And far be it from me to tell anyone what to do, but to the single women in the city who plan on spending this Wednesday getting drunk with their girlfriends (be it in the name of joyous independence or sour self-pity): Maybe, instead, think about doing something a little more constructive? Not being preachy. Just an idea.

As for my own plans: Class on Wednesday. We're screening Blood Feast. OMG, so romantic!
